Our Team

Westbury Therapist

Michelle B

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Working with adolescents and young adults has always been my passion. As a former school counselor, I use my knowledge of the school system in conjunction with cognitive behavioral therapy to guide teens throughout their educational experience. With specializations in ADHD, Anxiety, Depression and LGBTQ, I work closely with each individual client to determine goals and create a realistic long-term plan.

It is my goal to provide a welcoming environment to create a safe space for clients to heal and learn to incorporate the appropriate coping skills and tools to overcome life’s obstacles. Together we will focus on your strengths to help you achieve your goals.

Licensed Social Worker

Counseling can be a positive and life changing experience. It can be very difficult to find someone you can speak freely and comfortably to. My approach is geared towards creating a safe, non-judgmental space to help people achieve their personal goals. I provide counseling to individuals and families struggling with various life challenges. I enjoy working with a wide range of people, including those struggling with mood disorders, depression, anxiety, family conflicts, and trauma. We will work together to find the best path to help you manage the challenges you bring into the room.

Irene Quadri LMHC

Irene Q

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

I enjoy working with all types of individuals at different stages of readiness for therapy. Each client is an individual who comes with a specific set of needs and would benefit from a holistic approach. During sessions, the client and I focus on achieving their stated goals. I believe in developing these goals with the client and agreeing on the means to obtain them. I enjoy working with a wide range of populations such as children, adolescents, adults, couples and parents. "The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new." - Socrates.

Caitlin S

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

When people begin the therapeutic process, they have decided to share the pain they have been experiencing. When someone enters into that pain with them, healing can begin. I am a strong believer in the therapeutic relationship being the main mechanism for change. I will offer you a safe space to share the experiences you have been going through and assist you with any changes you may want to make in your life. Together we can tackle the obstacles that are holding you back, interpersonal difficulties, mental health symptoms, and/or traumatic events.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a range of mental health difficulties and disorders. I operate from a client-centered perspective and utilize cognitive behavioral techniques, cognitive restructuring, mindfulness training, and support therapy to assist with whatever difficulties you may be experiencing. I also have experience helping younger children with feeling identification, anger management, and anxiety. I look forward to joining you on your journey.

Stephanie V

Licensed Creative Arts Therapist

Being able to enter and examine one's story through a more concrete, tangible, and creative approach can provide great depth and insight into some of life's great challenges for my clients. Art therapy is an expressive form of psychotherapy that combines traditional theory and technique with psychological aspects of various art media. My clients are provided with the opportunity to explore the elements of paints, clay, collage, and markers etc. in order to visually explore their emotions, develop self-awareness, and address unresolved emotional conflicts.

As an experienced Art Therapist who has worked with various age groups ranging from early childhood through seniors over the years, I believe in the healing power of the arts and it's ability to restore balance, provide empowerment, and give visual form to those voices who may not be able to verbally express themselves otherwise. Creative expression in therapy can be a multi-faceted window of opportunity for clients from all walks of life. It is

my greatest hope to motivate my clients in realizing their inner strengths and abilities by helping them to discover what truly inspires them. I aim to provide a calm, safe, and therapeutic as well as a stimulating environment that encourages clients to trust their own opinions, while fostering confidence in those who yearn to realize their full potential.

LCSW Garden City

Carly M

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Life can become difficult to manage sometimes or often. Whether it is struggling with addiction, mental health diagnoses, relationship conflicts, a difficult hurdle, or stress; there are healthy ways to overcome and enjoy your life. As a licensed mental health counselor my goal is to use my clinical skills and prior experience to tailor treatment for each client specifically.

I have a wide range of experience in which I have worked in a variety of settings; substance abuse clinic, psychiatric hospital, private practice, day programs, and community services. With that being said, I have also worked with many different populations; children and adults, adults struggling with addiction, children with psychiatric diagnoses, and adults with psychiatric diagnoses.

I am familiar with and often use methods of psychoanalysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing during sessions but am familiar with and have experience with additional modalities as well. I am a strong believer that empathy, honesty, and teamwork are what create a professional and effective relationship between therapist and client. Together, we can devise a treatment plan that will help you get through what you may be experiencing and return to enjoying life.
